The best light is found in the boundaries between day and night... shadow and light.  The interplay between shadow, light, shape, color and texture is what motivates me.  My photography tries to capture a landscape that cuts to the essence of the moment.  An image that brings to mind what I was feeling at the time.  Grand landscapes are fine, but I have come to prefer the intimate landscapes that resides on the edges of light.

Making a career as a television producer and documentary filmmaker, I have always felt a passion for wilderness.  My photography and documentary film projects reflect that love of nature and unspoiled country.
